I want to get my 66 year old mother some VR equipment to play with my son, she wears glasses. What do you recommend?

The only VR headset I know that works with glasses is Google Cardboard, the rest require you to use contact lenses I'm afraid

I'd probably get her something simple like an all-in-one android device, watching for something like Gameface labs, Deepoon or Nibiru (no cables, all-in-one and wireless)

If she has a S6/Edge, S7/Edge, or Note 5 (and probably Note 7), then Gear VR works well with glasses. I use mine daily and no issues with the spectacles!

Gear VR (Oculus) is heavy though. I think lightweightness is an important factor when choosing a VR headset for children and elderly people.

My late-70s Nana rode a roller coaster on my Gear VR, drew in Tiltbrush and explored a castle in the Vive. She also wears glasses. She didn't seem to have a problem with the weigh or fit of either.
