yes you can play without VR Hardware

VRLife is a new kind of Minecraft server. Or at least that is what i aspire it to be. I started work on this about 2 days ago and have gotten a good starting point for us to grow. Obviously in these stages of very very early development there will be changes, things will break, things will be incomplete. But that is kinda what makes it great. Working from the ground up, people from all over, to create a world, an actual city. That is what VRLife will be.

Why I am here now: I need other people. Not that it is too big of a project, or that I am overwhelmed (mind you I kind of am, but when i think about the possibilities.... ) Think about it. You can log in and in Virtual Reality get in your car, pick up a friend, talk the whole time like its nothing (thanks to Mumble) and maybe go to a movie, or better yet.... go on an epic quest through a dungeon killing monsters and the like. But where is the fun without people, companionship. Hell, you might even fall in love D . But even in these such early stages of development, VRLife needs to start. We need to get the word out so when we do make it great... the people can flood in. With us to thank.

How can this work you might ask?
People will have jobs. You need to eat to live. you need to put gas in the car. You may choose to marry someone you meet. You will want to move out of the Marriot and build or find a cute home. This is a place where you can get away for a bit. Live your life somewhere else.

What I'm Really trying to say is...
VRLife Has the chance to be something nobody has seen before. A real life virtual world. We can bring people together from all different places, London, Paris maybe Tokyo... All in a wonderful virtual world where you can see things and witness things youve never imagined.

    Some Speculation...
I might be over thinking this, but with enough support and development this can become more than a Minecraft mod for the Oculus and Vive. Go cross platform to PSVR and maybe even become an independent game. This could really be the start of something new. A real life VRMMO if I may?

Okay, so you read all of that and you actually still are here?

    How do i join???????

Thanks for sharing, as this applies to a variety of VR headsets, I have decided one post in this sub forum is appropriate. Thank you again, and welcome to VR Heads.

looks like fun, but the sound effects and polish of the on-screen indicators come off as really amateurish
