    Hi, everyone.

    I want to introduce our project T.MIN [tiːmiːn]. We are working on it some time. So, now our video player is more like a product. It’s far from release-ready status, but main functionality works now. We hope to get feedback to understand if we are moving in the right direction.

    About project. We want to create VR environment where you can control everything by common gestures and it does not matter what helmet or gesture tracking system you use. We intend to support popular helmets and gesture tracking system both optical (like Leap Motion) and physical like Manus VR)).

    We want to create the VR environment where you don’t need for monitor. You’ll get 3D space immediately after loading. You will be able to install and run any apps work and entertainment.

    Also we believe our VR environment will become a platform for game developers. They will not need to learn a lot of SDK for supporting different HMD and gesture tracking systems.

    We have developed in last time two big features:

    • new buttons, now you can push them by hands
    • virtual hands of course;
    • big improvements in сode depths were made.

    Also, we launched project TMIN VR site.

    We plan to open pre-order with discounts for our video player. Subscribe to announcements to be the first by link

    Hello again.
    We are still alive. We know that it is useful to talk about project progress more often, but it is difficult for our team.

    So, a new update and a new video. What big features we developed:
    • Browsing a local file system (and network resources, if they are mounted as logical disks);
    • Rewind the video (and the list of files/folders by the way too) with gestures.

    Actually here's the video of development build with minimum numbers of glues:
