Ran across Cursed Sanctum in the Oculus store last night and thought it looked cool. This morning, I saw a review/walk-through video on YouTube and watched a little of it. It looks awesome ... except for one thing.

    Gaze-based, on rails.

Not a fan of that. I GREATLY prefer free-roam controls.

That said, it still looks like an awesome experience and I'll probably check it out.

at first I didn't know what you meant with rails but after watching the video I know.

One thing is amazing is the graphics quality, looks pretty impressive.

I just checked it out today. I'll post a full review later, but it was cool, graphically intensive and short. Watching VR Gamer Dude's review of it, describing it as a Choose Your Own Adventure type game, made me decide to try it despite the on rails aspect.

Maybe because it's created for a new market (VR) they didn't put everything on it, a lot of people can complain about a 20 minutes game for $3, but I think they put a lot of work in the looking aspect.

Maybe next step for the company is going with another platforms.
