I was reading some reports, like this one:

PlayStation VR sold over 51,000 units in Japan its first three days on the market

That's something impressive, but they also are saying that PlayStation VR Could Sell 1.4 Million in 2016.

That's something I really belive could happend, you can find that they has sold around 47.4 millions of consoles and I think they didn't take into consideration the Pro just released.

I don't actually know what other companies can do to catch up with it, XBOX is not on track as Sony is right now, and I don't feel like the PC market is getting those number (I need to research more deeper to know better), so I think Sony will be the leader this and maybe next year for VR, a good reason for developers to create content for them, hopefully free

It MIGHT. They have a captive audience so to speak, in the existing PS4 userbase, that can easily upgrade to VR WITHOUT the $1000 PC required. So lower cost of entry. Even those buying from scratch have an easier path. I think you might be right. US holiday sales will speak volumes!

47 million PS4 units?!!? Crazy! Imagine if Sony sold that many PSVR units?

Will be investing to see how many Pro units will be sold during the holidays.
