Who is Hugo Berra and why should I care?
I just read this blog by Russell Holly, our Editor in Chief, about Hugo Berra and his role at Facebook and with Oculus. It seems he will be the "face" of Facebook's Oculus division. This guy has a LOT of street cred, having worked at both Google (on Android) AND at Xiaomi. He's now running the Oculus division of Facebook. I think this is a great move and we will finally get to see what they have in mind for Oculus at Facebook. I recently missed my chance to check out the Facebook Oculus truck when it was in Philly, BUT hopefully it will come back!
I think this could be a productive pairing. We'll just have to wait and see. What do you all think?

The only thing I know about Hugo is that, for me, he was the "go to guy" when working with Android.
Haven't followed his venture with Xiaomi but knowing he will be joining the Oculus team, I look forward to see what contributions he will do to the world of VR.

I read something about him on TweakTown about that, he is VP of virtual reality (VPVR!) and lead the Oculus team
I also read the article by Russell, and I understand the excitement about him doing anything, he was considered one of the keys for the huge success of Android, XIomi is doing pretty great also, taking a place in anything they produce (Action Cameras, Smartphones, Laptops, and more), so I also hope he will bring a lot in this VR world.

Hugo is a guy who is very smart, can take the technology and break it down so that people who are not well versed can understand it. He's a master at patterns and relating to people. I think it is a great move for him to get involved in VR. All companies will benefit, not just FB and Oculus.
