I was under the impression that VR software was cost prohibitive for some, then I saw a thread on Reddit where people are talking about getting VR programs on Amazon for like $20 and that's before prime discount, VRs games like Batman VR and others, what do you think is a good price? Would you rather order it on Amazon and get it delivered or would you rather download it from Steam or one of the respective systems like Oculus or Vive?

I go wherever is cheapest, applies to all of my games regardless of platform. I'll go digital if there's a perk, but usually price wins out. Amazon and local game stores almost always undercut digital on console titles, so for PlayStation VR I'll be mostly physical I'm sure.

As for how much to pay, it depends on the title. Some of the slimmed down experiences like Batman I think are priced incredibly well to draw people in. But if you're getting a full game experience I have no issue paying the going rate.

I keep Amazon, Steam, Viveport, and occasionally random Google searches.

I actually think the prices are the same for the 3D games and software as the VR, right now a lot of programs are even free (because of the early stages of production and demand) so right now is not too expensive or cheap, it's about the same that buying a regular games/software.

I've not come across anything prohibitively expensive yet. The closest we got was a game on Steam that got terrible early reviews and dropped from $70 to $30 in response. I buy all of my stuff from the digital stores, no physical media for me!

Are the Steam games just as good and reliable as what you would buy on disk?
