VR wise, samsung already disabled compatibility between the note 7 and gear VR. Outside of that, don't expect any updates or software support for the phone. The first batch of phones they hamstrung the battery to 60%, you can expect them to do the same for the new batch in order to avoid more news headlines.

At some point, Samsung will say that they will not help anyone with a Note 7. If you got it from a carrier and you go into the store with it, they will require you to switch. No leeway in that.

It is risky not just for you but also for the people around you. atleast for the sake of your loved ones I'd suggest you ditch the BOMB Note 7 and go for a pixel XL or Edge S7.
