What is a good app to create my own VR world?

I would like to create my own virtual reality world, mainly just one of my home really. I have family that lives in the UK and can't come over to the US for some time. I am building my own home and would like my families input. Regular video doesn't cut it. Are there any apps out there like this?

It depends on you model of headset. But I haven't seen software that does that directly.

You could use home maker vr software though.

Or use Google Sketchup to create a 3D model of your home. And make it interactive using a free engine like Unity
