I'll second VR Porn.. There is a huge difference in turn on level between seeing a girl naked on a flat screen that is a few feet away, and feeling like you are actually in between her legs in VR. And I have to admit, its far better than I ever expected..

Cardboard headsets are hella cheap, so if you have a compatible phone, getting one is the best way to know if it's for you. Again, VR is in it's infancy, but it can still show you some very interesting experiences. People are still figuring out the best ways to take advantage of it though.

You aligned with my thinking. I love to hike and explore new areas. I bum hip has been keeping me away from my usual outings. It can get painful after only a half-hour of hiking. Something like this could be really exciting, especially if I can join an excursion in progress. Or perhaps be onstage at a live concert and let your air-guitar flag fly?

I only had the gear vr with my note 7 and didnt even get a chance to check out the adult stuff before they pulled the plug. I have motion sickness issue anyway so I would say I really enjoyed watching other people experience it. It was better when I knew what they are going thru, which meant I had to endure some time with it on.

I am looking forward to my daydream view as I believe with chromcast you can display some form of whatever the user is doing seeing.

There is one called Destinations, and one called Realities. They give you some content, but if you want more, there is a per location charge.

Not a big fan of watching movies in a VR setting. But as far as I know, yes they are regular 2D movies, but in VR they appear to be a big screen, and it kinda feels like you're in the cinemas.

There's a certain time I like it. I use it to watch something when I'm laying in bed if my wife is sleeping or watching something I can't stand. I'll put it on with headphones and watch something I like.

I can also see the younger crowd using this as a TV alternative as a lot of them don't own big TVs.

I think movies and games would be the way to go with experiencing this. But also being able to look at 360 panoramas would also be a compelling reason to try it.Imagine being in the middle of the Roman Coliseum or standing at the base of the Egyptian pyramids!

Ideally, I'd like to see one that's similar to Star Trek: The Next Generation's holodeck, where you can create the world you want. Since that's a bit cost-prohibitive, I'll have to settle for Star Trek Bridge Crew when that comes out in 2017.

Yeah, I can't wait for that experience as well. It would be great if a Star Wars full game was launched as well.
