Hi all, I’m part of an independent documentary film team that had a film that on the festival circuit until COVID-19 happened. We're moving to a festival-type screening in VR and we'll be using the excellent BIGSCREEN app(https://www.bigscreenvr.com) on April 28. It's a fundraiser and 100% of the proceeds are going to support the nonprofit Roxie Theater (roxie.com) in San Francisco, one of the numerous art-house cinemas that have been closed due to the lockdown (we were scheduled to play there in June). They could really use the support so if you're free and interested, join us for one of the four screenings on the 28th. We're trying our best to make it like attending a festival screening, with the filmmakers joining in for a Q&A after each screening. Tickets are pay-what-you-can donation based, you can get your ticket HERE: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/vr-movi...no-question… BTW, our film is an investigative documentary that is being described as “a real-life episode of Black Mirror” (Film Threat). It looks at a startling and disturbing case of misinformation in China and was recently endorsed by Chinese artist-activist Ai Weiwei. There's more about the movie here if you're interested: AskNoQuestionsFilm.com. We hope you can help us by supporting independent local cinemas everywhere. Thank you and stay safe!
