It's happened! Mac computers will be supporting VR in their next iteration, with macOS High Sierra and with the upcoming huge bump in graphics processing power! Now this most likely means current iMac owners are out of luck, BUT those buying the new devices WILL be able to use HTC Vive (shown in demo) and probably Oculus also (not shown). Unknown, but unlikely that Apple will produce their own headset at this time.

Now this is something exciting, but it is getting buried to the back of most reports about WWDC because of the new iPad Pros and the *shudder* HomePod.

The AR stuff was really cool during the keynote also, but no one other than iMore and The Verge is talking about that either.

More info! Seems besides the new iMac Pro, those of us with other Macs can buy an external video card thing that will enable VR also! Check out this iMore blog by VRHead's editor @Russell Holly!
