I don't see another option. Video streaming may take a lot of time to shift to VR, especially movies but still pictures are in all ways better on VR.

Illusion, a rather famous Japanese studio, is making a Vive/Oculus knock-off of that creepy student/teacher game on PSVR, only they're going full "Adult". I am... tentatively curious.

It'd be interesting to see some accessories that can send and receive haptic feedback in certain areas improve the immersion of VR porn to extent that it can emulate the real activity.

I understand the points, and I have no doubt that pornography will be a significant use for VR, in the same way as it's a significant use for streaming video and other technologies. Will it be the only use? no! Will some people invent totally sick devices that incorporate VR? obviously, the world is a big place, and lots of people have all sort of non-mainstream ideas that they want to bring to reality. The internet and croudfunding platforms allow these people to get together and turn these ideas to reality, and it's totally fine!

As for the "this is porn, this is wrong", sexiual moores are different in different places, and no one has the right to be the moral police. As long as no one is hurt (unless they want to, BDSM between consenting individuals is totally fine), then who are you to object? If people use a general purpose technology to do something that it can do, then what's the harm? It might not be what you would do, but it's totally ok.

The future of pornography and VR are interlinked in a lot of ways, from what I've seen. In the last year, adult content in VR has absolutely exploded online and it doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.

While there is a lot less content and far fewer accessories that are targeted towards women, I'm hoping that will change. We have at the very least seem a lot more same sex VR videos, as well as female perspective VR videos.

This also opens up pornography to an entire different audience of people. Many people have been turned off of porn, because they don't really see themselves in the actors/actresses on the screen. By watching through a first person perspective though, these people have the option of being in the middle of the action.

While the nature of porn, and adult entertainment in general are considered a corrupting influence, I doubt that any more people will get hooked on it than are already hooked on porn you stream on a laptop, or watch on a television screen. No matter what media you choose, there is going to be adult entertainment for the masses to consume as they please.

Overall though, I'm really excited to continue seeing where porn and adult entertainment in general go in regards to VR. There is a ton of room for some fantastic and amazing things across the different kinds of VR and I'm curious to see how things develop separately for different headsets. Likewise, now that PSVR is out i'm curious to see if any region locked adult games are produced for the system, or if folks will just be going through apps to watch adult content on their console.

I agree with all aspects of this topic. Porn has definitely helped pushed the envelope when it comes to technology, and though I don't have any means of consuming this side of tech yet, I don't doubt that I'll delve into that when I do to see what it's about. It's an interesting idea that filled our minds once VR was first introduced back in the day, and I'm sure this will bring us closer towards the next phase of things (neural implants or 'plugging into the matrix' for example) and I just can't help but picture scenes of Surrogates with Bruce Willis. I just hope that we'll be able to differentiate between VR (or whatever the next step is) and real life when this piece of tech reaches that level.

Most amazing thing is we can view the actor or actress body from all angle all we want. Haha yummy! Or can we build our ideal of perfect anatomy?

Out of curiosity I checked out some VR porn the other night. Was kind of disappointing. It made me feel like I was an onlooking fly on someones forehead. The scaling was totally off. Everyone seemed huge. Ha ha not talking about ***** size. I found the 3D effect to be kind of weak also.

I hope they find a way to improve the experience. It's clearly not a hardware limitation. Maybe it's the hardware they use to record it?
Every other experience in VR has been mostly awesome so far.
Yeah, different vr videos are different quality. I see a lot of stretching because the lenses themselves magnify. Also, because they are trying to film something with whatever level the scene requires your head to be, and also have a tall person in the video. And lenses tend to stretch that kind of POV/Perspective.

There are some really decent videos. So far, I actually like some of the 180 degree videos with side-by-side viewing.. They tend to be slightly better qualty. And if you kind find the one with Iris Rose in it on Pornhub.com, it might just change your life.

There is a program called La Doosh (but its spelled differently...like the feminine cleaning product) that has cgi quality models built into it that you can choose. The demo version starts with one dancing around before she takes a shower. You can use the Vive or Occulous controller to grab her boobs. Which is kind of fun.. Then you realize that they put no limitation on how much you can pull or twist her boobs..at which point it becomes funny and pretty disturbing at the same time.

I hope they add a gender symbol at the video's start up's sooner or later. It's kind of odd being transported into another sex. I know they are probably labelled female POV but I don't always read the label. lol

For the time being, they are few and far between enough that I only find several at a time if looking at a category for female POV. Hopefully down the line there will be enough of them that the icon will become necessary.

The key to VRs success is availability, being able to try before you buy, competitive pricing and lots of content (this type included)
