I’m Kat — community manager for Snail Games, the company behind ARK Park. It’s nice to meet you all! Just wanted to make a quick announcement:

The community spoke, and we listened. The developers have been hard at work on movement systems – and the game has now been updated with free locomotion! The update is now on Steam and Oculus – and the team is also working on a patch for PSVR (which will also improve the game’s graphics).

ARK Park is currently being discounted during the SteamVR Spring Sale. If you haven’t gotten a chance to try your luck against a T-Rex in a gorgeous VR world, you can get both the Standard and Deluxe Editions for 30% off. (The Deluxe Edition comes with a Tek package that includes two cosmetic outfits and one Dino skin.)

The PSVR update for ARK Park has arrived! Though this update focuses on improving graphical quality for PSVR players, it also includes everything released in the PC update. Now you can enjoy free locomotion in addition to smoother graphics, enhanced lighting, and improved textures.

Hello Dino Fans!

Snail Games is thrilled to announce the first DLC update for its multiplayer VR game ARK Park. The “Pterosaur Hill” DLC update will be released at the end of June for all supported platforms. Best of all, it’s free for all current ARK Park players!

The “Pterosaur Hill” DLC is built around the concept of flight and includes three new maps: Mountain Lake, Crystal Sky Lift, and Aviary. In addition to using land-based vehicles, you’ll now get to float in a hot air balloon overseeing Mountain Lake; ride the Crystal Sky lift; and gaze upon the majestic nest of Quetzalcoatlus – the largest prehistoric flying creature – in the Aviary. Air battles are a key component of “Pterosaur Hill.” You can hop on a Pterosaur to show off your excellent air combat skills – then traverse the treacherous Death Canyon to find the nest of a fire-breathing dragon.

But that’s not all.

This update includes 10 new dino species in addition to new weapons and items to spice up combat. If you’re interested in learning about ancient creatures, you can pick up your gene-scanning gun once again and add to your collection!

“Pterosaur Hill” will be available for free to all current ARK Park users at the end of June. ARK Park is on the HTC Vive (SteamVR and Viveport), PSVR, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets. Detailed pricing info for each store – along with platform exclusives – can be found below:

I'm THISCLOSE to buying a Razer VR Ready laptop and HTC Vive. I just have to sell a kidney first! lol I for SURE will try out your app if I do!

We are 1 step closer! I bought an MSI gaming laptop. It was a little cheaper than the Razer I was looking at with the same specs.
