Hello VR Heads.
Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Night is going to introduce a VR experience called
The Repository.
Here are some items I found interesting from the article:
It "blends custom virtual reality technology with immersive real-life storytelling bringing guests into the next dimension of horror experiences." Those participating in the experience "will be tested as they encounter real-life characters in highly themed physical environments, while working together in
teams of four to uncover a paranormal mystery told through the use of the cutting-edge technology."
This made me think of those "escape rooms" me and my friends have played in the past. Imagine if it would be adapted for VR?
According to the article, you need to "upgrade" your Halloween Horror Night (HHN) admission paying an additional fee of $49.99. I have never been to HHN so I am not sure what the cost is normally? What is your take on this form of entertainment? Would it be something you would want to try?
