Hello, I am legally blind and searching for the simplest way to stream / cast my laptop screen contents via hdmi input onto a headset with maximal field of view and a minimum of additional features such as motion tracking, app-driven interfaces, gaming, speakers, etc. I am merely searching for a means by which to view my laptop screen in real-time using a portable headset. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thank you!

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

Well what I get is you want only the 3D screen headset, mayb saving as much money as possible, for that I would recommend you to use Windows 10 and any Mixed reality headset for Windows, which are between $200 and $300 on Amazon at least, all those are great, it's just about your preferences to chose one.

    Here some I found:
Lenovo G0A20001WW Explorer Mixed Reality Headset

Dell - Visor Virtual Reality Headset and Controllers for Compatible Windows PCs

Acer (AH101-D8EY) Windows Mixed Reality Headset Model VD.R05AP.002
    by Acer

All have more than 100 degrees of Field of View, and the headset alone for the Lenovo is on sale on about $190.

Headset as the Oculus Rift and the HTC ViVE are meant to have another features so are a bit expensive than the Windows 10 MR HMD (Head Mounted Displays), also you need to be sure your laptop has good specs to handle the HMD requirements.

    Hopefully this can help
