    I can't get it to work either. It just stops as soon as I start. Logged into FB just fine.

    I ran into an issue with livestreaming a while ago where it would just stop in the middle or say it was streaming, yet nothing ever actually streamed. I fixed it by disconnecting my Facebook account and reconnecting it.

    After that reconnect, livestreaming worked properly again. Maybe @Happyhemplady and @krisguy need to try that?

    I finally got time to use my Gear VR today and ran into the same issue. The option was nonexistent and even after unlinking and relinking Facebook, I still had no livestream option show up. I did a quick search on the Oculus forums and Reddit and found no solutions posted, so I submitted a support ticket with Oculus.

    Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon with an answer. I was looking to do more livestreaming soon now that I got OBS working (was thinking do FB stream, have OBS capture that window and restream it to Twitch/YouTube, along with a webcam view), so I definitely want an answer.

    I don't know if it's official, but livestreaming to Facebook is working again on my Note 5. Just randomly it showed up. Chromecast support also showed up a couple days ago.

    So if you haven't tried in a while and want livestreaming, check again. Maybe update any random apps that need updating (I think it happened after I updated Altspace, which makes no sense, but you never know) and see if it kicks it into gear.
