We are in week two since the PSVR release, I stumbled upon an article saying it has outsold the PS4 in Japan.

Understandable seeing that is new hardware. The article notes the sales week being October 10th to October 16th. The number of PSVR unit sold was 51,644 compared to 30,154 PS4 units sold.

From a consumers point of view, the number of PSVR sold in the "Land of the Rising Sun" is pretty impressive. Way to go Japan!

Amazing, I think Sony is doing a great job getting profit of it, later in a few weeks releases the PS4 Pro and again filling the wallets (theirs not ours), but also making the VR ecosystem more global, that's good even for the competitors, because more developers will jump into it because of the massive amount of users of the platform.

I read somewhere Sony has sold more than 40 millions of PS4 I guess that number will be something to consider in the near future with the amount of PSVR to be sold.
