Google explores troll prevention in VR - BBC News

Good ideas for the prevention of distressing other players. Not sure about the dog heads though I think that might distress me! My dad has one of those paintings of dogs playing poker. I find it strangely disturbing. Could just be me. lol

We've seen a couple of great examples so far for this. Big Screen implemented a personal bubble so you can't lean in and get in someone else's face with your Avatar, for example. I think as long as there's a nice selection of avatars it could be a good idea.

Glad they are thinking of ways to stop the occasional obligatory internet moron.

I'm hoping that Altspace can come up with a solution like this. It's still disheartening when I don't want someone in my field and then their avatar clips.

I'm glad they are doing all they can, BUT as long as there is internet and interaction with others there WILL be trolls. Kinda comes with the territory. We just do our best to ignore them, and yes the site and services do there best too!

Once the communities are large enough I guess being able to block people from joining you again should suffice. It would prevent the need for so many boundary's in place.
