I'm really thinking about getting an MR headset but I'm concerned about how well they do room scale tracking. That will be how I play at least 90% of the time so it's pretty important.

Room scale is the same dimensions on Windows Mixed Reality as it is with the Rift and Vive. The difference is that Microsoft is using data and tech from Kinect and Hololens to provide inside out tracking instead of having lighthouses.

About 200 Best Buy stores will have live demos of WMR on the weekends this holiday. I would suggest trying it there.

Real good point, Kris. Try it out and see how well it works. The controllers track well, other than if they go behind your head. The sensors that pick up tracking are located on the front of the headsets, so you aren't going to get the same tracking as with Rift sensors or Vive lighthouses.

And thats where the Vive and Rift stand out compared to WMR and PSVR. The ability to move in a 360 space as opposed to the 180-240 degree view of the other 2
