Post things you miss about the video game, video or VR industry from days gone by..

I miss when all the demos were a single level of a game. Nowadays half the demo is.."this is what the game looks like" and that's it. You can't really get a feel for it. And honestly, any game that is cheesy enough to not "at least" let me play one level, I probably won't buy....

Strange as it sounds I miss jumping on a train to look for import US SNES game's. I wouldn't do that now but back then it was an exciting adventure. I guess like a treasure hunt.
