Is Google Chrome OS the future of VR?

Right now, the path to VR is either via your phone, Samsung, OR otherwise via Google Daydream for the lucky few of us with certain phones (more to come) and the rest via Google Cardboard, an expensive highly spec'd PC with an expensive headset, or PSVR. Ok OK there are a couple standalones too, Android based, and the Microsoft Hololens. Point is it's usually VERY expensive. BUT Google is heading towards getting VR working in Chrome OS and this should reduce the cost considerably. Although, how much still remains to be seen, Pixel C is pretty expensive! lol

I hope Google gets this out sooner rather than later. We need a good browser for VR.
