Very nice. I like that you can replace the audio cable with the Audio-Technica.

I could say that the best are those which suits you well, for me the HyperX Revolver are awesome, the Astro A50 are kind of better but too pricey.

Almost any Sennheiser will be good :P

In deed it does and it is a 3.5mm connection.

Makes sense...I really wish the Rift did. The headphones built into it are actually really good but it would be nice to have that option.

Yeah because this way you can choose in ear, over the ear or closed headphones

Actually you can change your Oculus headphones for this oficial in-ear:

Best headphone to use with the HTC Vive-earphone-accessory.jpg

And you can use your own headset by setting in up in the config but plugging it into the audio out of the PC:

But would be nice as you said to have a regular 3.5mm jack just in the headset in order to have this easier.

I did know all of this but thanks for sharing. Who wants another physical tether though?!? Lol It's good they offer an in-ear option.

Btw, did anyone else look at the headphone tool that came in the box and wonder what the heck it was for?

Yes, I did ask myself what it was that for?

But well I only know one person who uses a different headset and he used just the plug on the PC
