    ADR1FT, a space survival VR experience (GAME)-adr1ft_header.jpg

ADR1FT is one game that seems to be flying under the radar, as not much hype has been made. The game comes from developer stuido threeonezero and publisher 505 Games. This will be threeonezeor's first major game title which will be released as an exclusive Oculus and PC title via Steam. The game is also set to release on Xbox One and PS4 shortly after.

So, what is ADR1FT you ask? Its being marketed as "immersive First Person Experience (FPX)" which follow the story of an astronaut in danger out in space. As the only survivor of a major wreckage, you must fight your way through dangerous obstacles, repairs, and your EVA suit which is leaking oxygen, all to try and regain your memory and find out the cause of the wreckage.

The concept is very interesting and as a normal PC game it would be cool. But add in the Oculus Rift headset and it takes it to a whole new level, actually putting you in the game itself and in space. No sky, no ground to stand on, only the deep dark reaches of space!

ADR1FT was set to release on March 28th, 2016, The official system requirements have also been released, which are:

    OS: Windows 64 bit
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz / AMD
    Phenom 9850 @ 2.5 GHz

    OS: Windows 10 64 bit

Watching the trailer gives you just a bit of insight on what the game is like, the premise is interesting and we will have to wait to see how the actual gameplay is like. Especially with those using the Oculus Rift. Let us know your thoughts on ADR1FT and if you are thinking of purchasing it next week?

Talk about serendipity I just posted this in the Oculus Rift topic about this and didn't see this post, I have seen this game played on Twitch and already knew it was made for Oculus Rift, so I guess I'll ask here, having played this on VR do you think this game is more suited for VR or is it just as good for PCs without VR capabilities?
