OK, it's an old news, the AT&T Developer Summit has a section called the VR/AR CHALLENGE, where teams of developers send their projects and 3 of them receive prizes.

They invite the five selected finalists to travel to Las Vegas, where the finalists will demonstrate their projects at the 2017 AT&T Developer Summit on January 3-4, 2017, just prior to CES.

Developer Summit attendees will select their favorites through voting. The winner will be announced at the AT&T Developer Summit keynote address on January 4.

Looks interesting, from the site I think it's a very interesting way to promote some topics (submission must include any of this Film/Content, Education, Sports and Healthcare topics with certain particular conditions).
