I use AppMgr III to move apps to the SD card. Guess what? NONE of the Oculus apps are moveable. And they are the largest of all of them. I could free up many Gb by moving them.
    That's a bunch of hooey.

Have you tried moving the apps through the 'My Files' app that came with the phone? I'm not sure about the ability to move Oculus apps but the 'My Files' app is what I use to move files and it works well.

Oculus cannot read it's APK files unless it is in the Oculus folder. There is no way that I know of to make the games load unless they are on internal memory.

BTW, Calvin: Welcome and thanks for joining!

It's unbelievable they would make those apks so large, and know they are being used on a unit with such restricted memory.

I think you will need to use a more powerfull app, if you rooted your phone there are options to do that, I know because here some tablets and phones doesn't have the Google Apps and you are able to install the app in the external memory using some more complex tools

Last phone I rooted was my S3. Didn't see much advantage to doing it.
Not willing to do my S7, especially with an OS update coming soon.
