Hey Resident Evil fans!

With the release of Resident Evil 7 this past week it reminded me of a couple of CG animated movies I saw over the past few years.

Those movies are: Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) / Resident Evil: Damnation (2012) / Resident Evil: Vendetta (to be release sometime in 2017)

All movies star Leon Kennedy as the lead protagonist who teams up with other familiar characters from the Resident Evil franchise. Though I scene all the Resident Evil movies staring Milla Jovovich (with one left in the saga), I prefer the CG animated movies. They definitely feel more more tuned to the Resident Evil video game world.

Another thing that is interesting is to see the evolution of CG animation tools used to make all the movies. They keep getting better and better. Looking forward to see Vendetta as Leon is teamed up with Chris Redfield.

Pretty cool that these and the Final Fantasy animated moves are picking up so much traction.

Awesome! I didn't know about these, must add them to my watchlist. I would love to see more games go down the animated movie route.

Ah, I remember Degeneration. Still have it kicking around somewhere in DVD form. Leon was my favorite, probably due to playing RE4 through about 20 times.

DVD. Nice.

Leon is a pretty good character. Don't remember when he became a government agent. I guess it started with Resident Evil 4? Haven't played that one but watch the character in the movies he is pretty bad ***.
