We're usually at my wife's parents, playing jigsaw puzzles or otherwise keeping busy till midnight, lol. I'm considering making sure I've got my Gear VR with me so I can see what might be going on in Altspace.

I work on NYE, then when I get home I'm planning on doing a game stream on Beam and Twitch, starring my Vive.

I'm invited to a sober celebration but I'm not sure if I'm going to go. I usually go to bed early. I'm a light weight anymore.

I'm thinking maybe I'll do a driveby at my friend's party. I'll go, stop in say hello to everyone have some food, and then leave after about an hour. I really don't want to be out during the craziness, or when the drunks are driving home after midnight!

Yeah, most don't even stay late at our place usually go home early as silly as that may seem since its new years. Even if stop by for little while it's still nice. Also going to remodel the kitchen after new years.
