Core 2 Duo, Radeon RX, 4GB DDR3 (8 gb if need) - it is enough for smooth playback of VR movies?
I did a search on the forum but did not find the answer to the question.

Hey chegeware, Oculus recommends the following specifications for optimal performance:

Graphics: GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 480
Processor: Intel Core i5 or better
    RAM: 8GB or more.

So i would say the processor in your case is not good enough.Possibly try upgrading that.
If the processor clock speed is 2.4ghz or higher I'm sure you can get away with it.
Wait for other members to respond in case I'm way off.

I think Matty gave you the best answer. It is tough to say for sure what video's are you trying to watch? The software you use probably would have a system requirement guide you can use for reference.

I wouldn't recommend a Core 2 Duo at all. A standard Core i5 at 2.4+ GHz would be the minimum of what I would use, as it actually causes some issues on my laptop. I went AMD for a cheaper overall build price for my Vive.
