I just picked up a rift and am running it on a Dell Alienware laptop with a 1060 nvidea graphics card, SS hard drive and 2 terabyte traditional hard drive. My question is if I were to exchange this for a desktop with lets say an RTX 2080 Ti, would I see significantly better performance playing Robo Recall or other games? Would you VR gamers recommend a Dell product of a different nature. I may have to stick with Dell but could go else where if I have to. Thanks

Yes you would get better performance, BUT your laptop sounds reasonable too, not sure its worth the extra expense. Are you having performance issues currently?

It seems to be running fine. Does more power help decrease the screen door effect or sharpen up the picture?

Is there a game you would recommend to use to check that more more horsepower is not going to get me more performance than I have now?
