    It's great to see someone around your age keeping up with tech! My dad was curious so I demoed VR to him. He wouldn't be able to work it on his own though.

    Thank you for all the welcomes. It adds to the respect I've seen on this forum, of which I belong to many more.
    I've been using computers and online resources since the 1970s and have always been the go-to guy for others when they have a problem.
    I belonged to an online clan and played the Battlefield series of games. (Old Geezerz) although I don't play many games at this time.
    Have always been interested in VR since hearing about it in past years. Now I'm going to jump into it head first.
    I've been setting up the phone with a few apps and my unit should be here by Monday.
    First stops, roller coasters and some space traveling.

    Hahaha, good plan - retire into VR, where you can basically go anywhere and do anything on a budget. =)

    Old head here too, although maybe a little younger (I'm 50). I remember the early days of online fondly too!
