Is there a way to adjust the VR images on the display if you have Strabismus?

    Hello!

Having experience only Cardboard, I know it does not have the option for adjusting for strabismus as 1) the lenses of the cardboard are fix 2) when using a cardboard app on our phone, it splits the screen into displays it does not offer the option to change the position.

Maybe some of our fellow VR Head forums members will be able to share their experience with other head mounted display to see if such an option is available.

Thank you for the post. I didn't know what the medical term was for this condition. I am sure it would be a nice option to have.

I know the HTC Vive has a dial on the HMD that adjusts for pupil width. I don't know if that would be enough, but it could prove helpful.

A company called Vivid Vision is making a software for those who have strabismus.

Here is the company's main site.

Even cheap mobile VR headsets can adjust interpupilar distance. But, the key isn't in the lens position, it's in the angle of the split image: on the display. When creating a 3D image for VR, they split 1 into 2 at a certain angle. So the question is: can the image be adjusted for people with Strabismus?
