    If you are looking for a low cost way to try VR, then yes.

    A couple of caveats:

    If you wear glasses the cardboard versions of cardboard are probably not going to work very well, but there are a large number of plastic versions that are as cheap or cheaper.

    The better the phone's screen, the better the VR experience. With a low-end phone you are probably going to be able to see individual pixels.
