Folks,

I was wondering what the best first person shooter games are for the Oculus Rift? It seems like it would really lend itself to this type game. So what are some of your favorite games and why? What weapons do you like in those games? Sniper rifle, rail gun, RPG, good old fashion double barrel?

This youtube playlist has some FPS games, maybe you can find something new there.

I also thought that VR would be ideal for FPS but one thing I've notice from watching the videos is how awkward it is to use the gun's sights, on two handed weapons like rifles.

Edit: Just noticed that the videos on the playlist are all for the Vive, sorry. Maybe the games are available on the Oculus as well.

I know Russell loves Damaged Core. I haven't had a chance to play it yet.

Damaged Core is life. There are some better Oculus Touch games coming.

I've heard that Super Hot is one of the best FPS for VR. Makes me bummed that it isn't out for HTC Vive

Arizona Sunshine just recently came out as well. I've heard good things about it.

I did read later that there could be gun alignment issues in relation to how the guns are naturally pointing in your hands. They hope to address it in an update to revive. You can adjust them manually though apparently. I've yet to try it.

Only got the Rift w Touch recently, so still trying out lots of experiences. So far I think Superhot VR is an example of a game that is better in VR
