I just wish the drift can get fixed sooner than later.

Yeah. Not sure why they can't correct the drift with the magnetic compass sensor inside the phone.

Though for non game apps, I've enjoyed NBC Sports app for 360 Olympics videos, and liked some 360 videos in the Within app.
I have a few other non game apps that I want to try out.

VR is most definitely not limited to gaming. In fact, Oculus recently noted that 80% of Gear VR usage was video based. My suggestions would be Samsung VR (they just released a new thriller series by the Dir of the bourne identity called Invisible and something from Vice Canada called Cut-Off featuring Canadian PM Justin Trudeau), Next VR (if you're into sports), Netflix, the various Cirque Du Soleil experiences (new one went live recently for Ka). Notes on Blindness is enspiring.
