Hey VR Heads!

Note: Picked "Other VR Heads" but (as indicated in the title) it is actually a topic that mixes VR and AR

What movies you remember watching that either had VR or AR elements in them and with what VR / AR system would it be comparable to today's offering?

Iron Man 2 - Microsoft HoloLens - The closest thing to Tony's tech yet!



Johnny Mnewmonic - Prime example of "The One" (pun intended) accessory I would want to get with VR which are the gloves. Hope PlayStation VR will support something similar one day

An HTC Vive with a Leap Motion would provide the similar input phase. Now we need a great cyberpunk experience that can take advantage of it.

Minority Report! Especially with AR, but still doable in a completely virtual environment.

Also, I can't wait for Ready Player One! I read the book when I started falling in love with VR, highly recommend it to other VR enthusiasts.

A lot of tech/geek movie these day shows some of VR/AR/MR, even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it's amazing.

Episode 2 in Black Mirror's 3rd season is the prime example of augmented reality horror.
