Widely reported on the interwebs, the Daydream View will eventually support Google Cardboard apps, BUT did you know you can play Cardboard apps on it right now with 1 simple tweak? Now you need to un-do this after to make regular Daydream apps work correctly again, BUT the secret is otherwise simple. When you want to run a cardboard app, go to settings either in your app drawer OR via the swipe down, under wireless and networks, select More, THEN simply turn off NFC. Then just run the cardboard app as normal and place the phone in your device as normal. When you are done don't forget to turn NFC back on, daydream needs it to function for regular apps. I believe the controller is NFC.

So you will be able to use the daydream with all cardboard compatible devices.

I just want to know if there will be more accessories for other uses of the Pixel.

Sounds like a simple Tasker profile to turn off NFC when a Cardboard app is opened could automate this easily.
