I told a friend of mine I was going to Lisbon Games Week to try out PlayStation vr and told him worten stores are now accepting pre-orders, he told me not to buy playstation vr because they are just "milking the cow" since it is just the plain playstation 4 and you just buy the HMD to use with it, he told me to wait till they make a console that is dedicated to vr. Any thoughts on that?

Welcome! I think I understand your friend's concern, but if it is one company that can make it work as an add-on, it is Sony. They shed their laptops, televisions, and mobile phones so they can concentrate specifically on their PS businesses.

Unless you have money just to blow, I should wait for a console that is geared more to vr, where all the games are compatible.
