Lenovo will be introducing a new VR HMD at CES 2017.

The pic seems to be a protype yet looks very similar to Sony's PSVR in terms of physical appearance. They weight of the unit could be 350g and will have two 1440 x 1440 OLED screens inside. The headset will use Windows Holographic platform that will deliver room-scale VR without the need for external sensors or cameras. Instead, Leveno's HMD uses front-mounted cameras to pick up depth information. Unfortunately...no motion controllers...only Xbox One controllers will be working this this HMD.

Lenovo looks at releasing their VR offering sometime this year and supposedly for "less than $400USD".

Not to heavy, no additional sensors or cameras to setup for room scale, possible "less than $400USD"...if that is the case, I believe this might help boost VR.

Room scale without extra sensors or cameras is very appealing to me. 2017 is going to be an interesting year for VR.

I like that the stuff is coming with sensors built in but I think its still in process of refining cause all of them don't have controllers to go with it.
