    In no order

Affected: The Manor. More of an experience than game. Nice controls and graphics. Highly immersive. Short and sweet. Not the scariest out VR app, but that may be a good thing. 9/10

Tactera: Great, simple real time strategy game. Just started playing it tonight. Initially avoided VR games that weren't first person, but this game shows that VR can still add a lot to other types of games as well. This will be my go to game for a while. Only problem is that I couldn't find a match for multiplayer. Its late at night though, and the game does let you play against the AI while waiting for an opponent. Very fun game. 9/10

GrooVR: Awesome way to listen to your favorite music. Ive spent hours on this, and seen almost all the scenes they have. I have a paid Spotify account that I linked, and I can easily choose my songs and switch scenes. Immersion is off the charts, gorgeous graphics, lots of fun. Skip the "small world" scene. The rest are great. 10/10.

Dark Days.....I haven't finished it yet. Look, Ive been watching horror movies since I was 10. I enjoy them but they don't scare me at all. But for some reason, I can only play this game 20-30 minutes at a time or I feel like ill end up with PTSD. I'm starting to get used to it, but early on at one point I was hiding in a virtual closet for like 15 minutes. I think the game glitched and kept playing me the sound of the creature breathing even after it had left the room. Anyways, the graphics are nice, the immersion is great, the story and acting are good so far, but I'm not finished with it yet. I briefly started Dead Secret, and its similar early on, but not quite as frightening. I would recommend either one, but with a warning that horror games in VR are intense af. 8.5/10

Smash Hit: Flawless, fun game. Fast paced, smooth gameplay, nice visuals. 10/10

Casino VR poker. If you like Texas Holden, this is pretty cool. You play against real people. You can see each others avatar's head movements. It has the feel of being at an actual casino poker room, for better or worse. 7/10

Gunjack: Awesome graphics, gameplay and immersion. Very repetitive though. I got to around level 16 before I had to exchange my Note 7. Now id have to start over. Might get around to it. Still I highly recommend it. 10/10

Sisters: good, fun quick scare. 7.5/10

Sonar: Pretty fun short movie. 8/10

Lands End: Great visuals and gameplay, but a little too slow for my taste. Ive only played the first few levels. I intend to go back to it when I run out of other games. 7/10

Battle for Avengers: Nice VR trailer that puts you in a scene right in the middle of the action. Its only a few minutes, but its fun. 9/10

that's a lot of great content!: Ive probably had more hours of fun in the last couple months than all my years with PS4, where theres only been a few games I really enjoyed.

    Now the crappy purchases/downloads:

Dreadhalls: Truly scary as hell, but the controls made me really sick. Lasted about 45 minutes after I stopped playing. Garbage.

Free flighter: cool graphics and concept but it just isn't fun

Dream Flight: Made me pretty sick, and the visuals should be better for a game like that.

Wands: Nice graphics but the gameplay sucks

Anshor 2: Got bored of it after 20 minutes. I played some end space which is similar and way better, but I didn't play enough to review it yet.

Suicide Squad: total garbage gameplay and graphics. Worst thing ive downloaded.

Titans of Space: made me sick. Graphics aren't that impressive. Don't learn much. Like taking a boring class in high school.

Ocean Rift: Not worth the price tag. It is fun for 10-15 minutes, but ill likely never play it again.

Overall I'm very impressed by the Gea rVr and the content available. Didn't expect much from a mobile device when the story on VR is that the Rift and Vive require $1500 computers to run. I'm sure those are way better, but for $99 the gear VR is a great value. Its highly immersive and filled with plenty of great content.

Neat. I've been looking for a reason to buy a Gear VR, and good to see someone has some opinion on it.

Good list! Have you tried any of the Herobound games?

Herobound First Steps is a decent little sample, but I highly recommend trying Herobound Spirit Champion. It's definitely one of my favourite Gear VR titles. It's similar to something like Zelda. There are different areas/worlds, you get items with new capabilities as you progress, the areas have boss battles and it's just a fantastic game overall. You'll likely get about 4-5 hours playing through it.

The last of the Herobound series is Herobound Gladiators. It's not an adventure game like the other two, it's a battle arena game. It's multiplayer, but last I checked, nobody was still playing...

Tactara and Darknet, from the same developer, are among the best games you can buy for this device. Anshar 2 is a lot of fun and makes good use of the technology.
