How will the Playstation VR work with my existing setup?

I have a PS3, will the PlayStation VR work with it?

I believe the PlayStation VR requires a PS4.

You'll need a PlayStation 4 to get the minimum experience, but the real deal will be when you add the PS Move controllers to get the full experience.
