I am getting Oculus Rift and want to know what I need to do to prepare my PC for VR gaming? Is there any hardware or software that I need to buy/download in addition?

Yes Bobo, you also use the HTC Vibe with a PC. In fact the specs of the PC are actually a little less for the Vibe....

Just ran the test on my gaming PC which just meets the minimum specs of GTX970 (nothing special or overclocked about it) and an i5-4590 3.3GHz. Got me into the ready section with an average fidelity of 6.4. Perhaps its your motherboard chipset holding you back as that is a fairly old CPU you have there.
