I'm the Community Manager at the San Francisco Samsung Accelerator, organizing a Gear VR hackathon November 5 & 6 at Samsung Research America in Mountain View.

We're gathering Developers, Designers, enthusiasts, experts, and industry partners for 2 days of VR creation.
We will supply headsets, support, food, and prizes - including a shot at a seat at the SF Samsung Accelerator.

Projects will be judged in these categories:
    • Best industry specific application (health, construction, real estate, etc)
    • Best tool for UGC or game development
    • Most original/inventive UX (think beyond buttons and menus)
    • Best multi user application
    • Best in show

More details including partners to follow soon! Check out https://hackreality.splashthat.com/ for more details and RSVP.

Space is limited- secure your seat today. Hope to see you there!

Wish I could go! I'm actually in LA a couple days earlier for Unite, but there's no way I could afford to stay in California any longer. =(

Well that's great and welcome Julie, unfortunately I won't be able to be there for several reasons, but I think events like this one can help this technologies to raise.

I hope to see here all the experiences posted later.
