I take tons of shots at times... Certainly don't edit them all. But sometimes you just want to get a pic cleaned up right.
Fotor is free desktop app that will convert RAW or DNG to JPG without loss of image size. It has some basic edits. I then follow up with
Polarr Pro. It's $20 US, but you can catch it on sale for $1 at times... Super easy UI and pretty powerful at tweak and cleanup.
Check the process here starting with an original from my 1520 and ending with a final copy from Polarr.
