I would work with my therapist to see if VR could help with my depression and possibly help other sufferers as well.

I want to play any game in VR. I can only imagine it would be awesome.

To be honest I need the computer for Civilization VI when it releases in October. My current computer only has an integrated-APU, not a dedicated GPU card. So I can play some games on minimum (Civ V & Civ BE are the only ones I'm playing at the moment), I doubt it will be good enough to play Civ VI even on minimum. The HTC Vive headset is just extra. Maybe there will be a Civ VR game/mod/DLC that will allow me to tour my empire in VR street-view.

Lately, I'm really into Fotor for converting dng to jpg with basic edits and Polarr Pro to do advanced edits and cleanup. Plus this combo does not downsize the .dng like Rawer on phone does.

What the Asus would help with is video edit/format and you could make your own 360º videos to pump into your Vive.

I used to take a lot of photos, sometimes 600 in a single day - so editing all those photos would have been madness. Plus, I don't have any software for editing the dng files. Sure, there's lightroom but I like to think of myself as a photographer on a budget

My computer is to week for VR, so a new one will be welcome!
