With VR, is it more enjoyable with earphones or loudspeakers?
Headphones - 100%.
Some games (more all the time) are using positional audio which is best in a good set of headphones. Hearing the footsteps coming from behind you before you turn to see it is really cool.
With surround sound technology improving at the rate it is, headphones will give that true sense of virtual reality
yeah i'm thinking earphone and it would apply to any.
Headphone--with or wireless? And is it not cumbersome as your head already is covered and burdened by the headset?

I'd say headphones. I know the PSVR has 3D Audio Processing. So you'd want headphones to be able to get a more emersive experience. Secondly most on ear headphones fit comfortably over the headsets.
there could possibly be an audio lag with wireless headphones. anytime i watch video with bluetooth headphones there is an audio delay/audio out of sync issue.
In would say headphones unless you have your VR hooked up to a surround sound system
Earphones are better than speakers, am I not right?
I use both really... earphones for when in the house but I get a really good experience in the car while I'm waiting for my daughter to get out of dance.

Its the difference between watching a movie in 360p vs 1440p. Obviously the loudspeakers will work fine and you will hear everything you need. But to be fully emerged. A pair of headphones is the way to go.
Definitely a good pair of headphones but if I lived alone a surround sound system would be nice too!
You play VR in your car?
One of the things which is highly appreciated of the Rift is the headphones included, amazing sound quality and great spatial experience, but I would like earbuds to avoid any external sound.
Earphones are much better adding to the privacy and cancels out disturbance to others who are unable to see what'g going on in the VR!
Definitely with headphones. Only then you have the full experience :cool:
