As the title asks: Do you use a screen protector on your Samsung phone you use with your Gear VR? If you do, does it cause image problems when using the screen so close to your face in the Gear VR headset?

I have used both Zagg and Bodyguardz glass protectors. Tempered glass does dull it a smidge, but I haven't noticed any image issues due to that. Now my astigmatism on the other hand.....

I've not noticed any distortions, and I use a glass screen protector on my Note 5

I use a generic plastic screen protector on my phone and it doesn't appear to have any negative effect!

This is very late, but I would also like to say that I also use a plastic screen protector with the Gear VR, and it hardly affects the experience at all. It smudges it a tiny bit, but thats just because the oil sticks to the plastic easier than the glass.
