I have read that if using any GPU below a GTX 1080 that ground cover should be turned off.
Whilst trying to optimise the settings using a GTX 1070 I can confirm this to be true. Although even with this setting off and all other settings as low as they can go rallycross still drops below 90fps.
A GPU OC of +80 core/+600 mem didn't change this. Thus I've no need to keep this OC active at the moment as the card is pretty much a killer for everything else.
I don't know if this is an issue with Revive or it's just because VR was bolted onto the game.
The good news is that by lowering some settings that make none to barely any difference. I'm able to add 2XMSAA which helps a great deal with image clarity. It's just rallycross is a no go unless I want to use reprojection. For a racing game I really don't. Rally and Hill climb are the better parts of the game for me anyway.
I've done a lot of testing with my current settings for rally. If anyone is interested in my settings or you need any help? Just ask
If you have experience playing on Oculus please enlighten.
