The title says it all. If I want to try a cheap VR headset with my galaxy s4 and don't have a controller or the vr headset doesn't have any buttons. Can I use a Bluetooth mouse which I already have for the controls?

Mouse probably wouldn't be the best interface. Game controls (gamepads) are way more effective and supported better. Moga, SteelSeries, and the new Xbox wireless controllers would be better choices. I'll have to try when I get a new BT mouse.

While Android supports mouse interactions, Kris is right, most games and apps are designed to use either simple one-button controls (like with Google Cardboard) or a Bluetooth controller.

If your mouse buttons can be mapped you might be able to do some things, but you really want a gamepad.
