    It says it may work with any phone, assuming specs, like screen res and processor are good. I wonder how they would run on the iphone

    Could be wrong, but I doubt there will be any Daydream VR apps. If there are Android APIs (like the remote?) associated with Daydream, someone would need to create these and/or reverse engineer them for the iPhone.

    While the free headset is enticing, I'd rather just have a discount on the phone :-). I've been holding out on getting the Pixel to see if they happen to do a Black Friday deal (which I doubt), but I wouldn't be surprised if any Black Friday deal involves a free Daydream set or Chromecast Ultra or Google Home, rather than a discount.
